3wks ago, my PC decided to go for a long vacation since he's been
working for almost 7yrs without taking any time off and leave.
So what i can i do,let him go lor or else if he decide to quits then i got more prob liao,hehez..........

Anyway,hv not been fishing for this 2wks oso but earlier on one of
my buddy did caught a barracuda on rapala X-rap lure at east coast area . 3 anglers fishing but only 1 lucky guy got 2 hits and end up 1 unlucky fellow landed,lol!
First hit was damn powerful but too bad he didn't manage to land that
monster,'SWAY AH '.............................haiz....

A few of my friends did went up there to fish before our trip and the catches were pretty good.
They manage to land quite a number of red Emperor's,Grouper's,Spanish Mackerel and some other spieces.

Pasir Ris Farmway (Fishing & Prawning) CR

Hi there Folks,
Its time i write a CR on my last few outing at d Pasir Ris Farmway Pond.

Last weekend,me & my gang went to PR Farmway to do some prawning & fishing.
This time round, with 3hrs of prawning we landed almost 40+ pcs of Big Head Prawns(Pron. in Hockien). Wow! i was quite surprise with the result anyway. To me, prawning was just another form of game for me to past time only but i didn't know that we could catch so much in 3hrs.
Actually ,our main aim is to hv fun and to try catch something for ourself to barbecue only.
With 2 rods & 3hrs of prawning,we were rewarded with lots of prawns for the table.
The hook up rate was fantastic too,the prawns were biting all round even when we abt to stop.
All i can say is that we had a wonderful time prawning there.

Btw,the fishing was oso good on my last visit there & recently i juz heard from my friend that they released abt 8o+kg fresh water barramundi and some pacu as well into the pond. So waiting for wat? time for fishing liao. Two of our guys did try out d fishing there & one of them hook up a huge fish which took him abt 20min to land.
Anyway, it turn out to be his largest fish of the day & it was a magnificent Chao Phraya catchfish estimated around 30kg. Congratulation Bro!

Lastly,i felt very honour to hv invited a lady chef from some Tampinese five stars restuarant to cook the prawns for us to fill our stomach, tks.............la!

Feeding Frenzy At East Coast Park

Finally its time for buffet fishing liao & its been such a long time that we go hunt for PASEH PASEH fish( hope i got d spelling right)also known as SUA CHIAM in hockien.

3 of us,Tang Sebastian & i went to east coast park area on last sunday to hunt for them
Through out d fishing we did caught some baby sua chiam & many other small fishes including
catfish,tripot fish,snapper & one which looks to me a like pompano.
Besides those fishes, one unlucky flower crab decided to have a taste at my slice prawn too.
We landed total around 30+ fishes but we only keep d sua chiam for our lunch & the rest were
released unharm.
Btw,weather was fine on the day but just abit hot only but one of our angler Tang decided to call it a day b'cos his water pipe decided to burst at a vy bad time when d fishes r biting continuously & water keep rushing out from his twin outlet pipe(i mean vy bad running nose la)LoL!
so without any other alternative we decide to head home after 2hrs of baking under d hot sun.

Below r some of d buffet fishes pic's that we caught & size ranging from smallest 2 inches to largest around 8 inches in lenght.
Btw, i didn't really took d pic's of each individual fishes which landed by 3 of us but just part of it only b'cos all focusing on d fishing la.

My Colleague's Birthday

Hi there Guy's & Gal's,

Me just came back from Bintan island,had lots of new expriences & explored quite a number of new places too.

First of all, i went to explore a few places and did fish for awhile on each location but my Ahmad(driver) couldn't stand d 3o+ degrees heat so i had to quickly move on to another spot to let him had some aircondition to cool himself down from his 20+ yrs old "PAJERO" haha. Anyway,its quite tough for a 50+ yrs old man to watch a monkey(me) swings his banana stick(fly rod) under hot sun lei,LOL!

After afew attemp on d new grounds without any catches i decided to go to some of the spot's which i hv landed fish before,CHEONG AH!

15mins later i was there & started rigging up my fly,this time i'll try to lure them with a popper instead of a dry fly. Just as my small lumo green popper landed on d water surface,a small haruan(around 10inches) came chasing out from his nest & i decide to stay still then strip slowly, just as i was make a long fast strip & this fellow just whack my little popper without giving me a chance to strike,Damm! And that was the first miss.

On my second cast,three of them came chasing at my popper again but went back to their home vy fast, but one of them did follow vy close and i think he should be the unlucky one liao this time,one fast strip & BANG! he swallowed d whole popper and without hesitation i try to strike it as fast as possible but DAMM IT! d popper flew out from his mouth immediately i striked, SHIT...! think i had to ask my Sifu to teach me how to catch them liao.

After that i decide to change it to a larger dry fly thinking that with bigger hook i would stand a better chance to catch them but fail to do that too.
With all those misses i think its time for me to call it a day and go for my lunch before i become roasted monkey,haha!
Anyway,i had some delicious food at one of the kelong there and some sight seeing as well.

Day 2 was suppose to be going home time but heard from the locals that there's a fresh water pay pond located at ?????? with lots fishes so i die die also must go see see la.
At 8am sharp,after we had our breakfast we straight away head down to d fresh water p.pond to check it out. 25mins later we finally reach d pond,at my first glance i can tell that there's around 10 average size pond within d area.
At first,my driver said that we had to find d person incharge of the pond before we start fishing but nobody was around there so without second thought i quickly set up my fly gear & start hunting.
Ya,i came across a pond with full of small to medium size gourami's & some fishes which i never seen before so i decided to try my luck on this pond. After a few tease at d gourami's,they don't seems interested at all but one small unknown fish took my fly with lightning speed which resulting it hooking up itself without needing me to strike,haha easy job.
It turn out to be the smallest fish which i hv caught so far on fly but i'm happy with that la.
Btw,i only fish for abt 15mins b'cos my driver keep asking me to go & said that we might get ourself in trouble if d operator finds out, so "BO PIAN LA" go lor!
Anyway,i will surely go back hunt for d fishes there although its not big but as long as it is landed by fly then ok for me la. Cheers!

Finally my H/P has discharge from d BDH(black devil hospital) today around evening time.
Really missed his service for awhile liao. After that i had a closer look & found out that there's 2 small hole on the right hand side of the body & full of scratch marks on d screen surface,wah lau! me really HEART PAIN lei! Haiz.....................................................................!
But luckily the doctor from d BDH still can save this fellow from drowning one wk ago.
He also said that i must take good care of him & not to injured him anymore,or else he would not survive the second time.I must really thanks doctor Black Devil for saving his life.
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOLz!

Day 3 of the Chinese New Year

Ya,its third day of d chinese lunar new year & we r on our way to a new fishing ground.
Sorry,should be my first visit there & its not a new fishing pond.
Btw,this is a pay to fish pond so don't espect too much from it,but i had heard good comments on
d fishing at this pond so might as well give it a try.
Reach there around 0230 pm,set up our ultralight outfits and straight away started our fishing.
At 0235 pm just after 5mins of fishing,sebastian landed d first fish of the day & its a 2lbs+ barra . After that,every 10 to 15mins we were landing table size barra,WOW! good fishing man.
Before we started our fishing,the owner had told us that they will be releasing big fish around 5pm & he also offer us with additional half an hour extra for free to fish till 6 pm,vy kind uncle tks.At 5pm sharp,the uncle rings the bell & release the big fish he mention earlier.After that i can see immediate hook ups by some anglers including me landing one biggy which almost broke my ultralight icecream stick & i was quite surprise with the power of the fish just like a first burst from hooking up a G.T. Lolz...
None of them from our group landed any big fish after the one that i missed but were happy with the result.Anyway, we landed 7 barra(2 on lure) & 2 angchor from 3 an a half hrs of fishing.
I think i would visit this place again b'cos i feel that the fishing is good(to me),environment is clean and the owner r honest & friendly. The only downside is the weather on that day,super hot temperature reaching 35 degree celcius i guess other than that, its good fishing after all. CHEERS!

2days ago i went fishing at Pasir Ris Farmway & prawning. Actually i was there 2 kaypo kaypo only la. Landed 2 baby patin & misses a few monster size fish due to d tackle we use. We were using ultra light tackle loaded with 4lbs fireline to tackle the fish but we were no match for the monster catfish. I told my friends nxt time we hv to show some respect for the fish even though we r exprience fisherman. So no complain this time,atlist we learn something.
Btw,we also had poor result on prawning but i could 'nt blame d operator for not releasing enough prawn for us to fish b'cos we r not familiar with the prawning spot & timing.
Just as we were abt to leave i accidentally drop my car key & hand phone into d pond,OH SHIT!
this time "TUA KEE LIAO" but i was lucky enough to hv my friend(helper of the pond) Ah Boy to get back my stuff,Thanks Bro i appreciate that.

Earlier on, i went to LSR to do some luring & fly fishing. Landed a baby PB & a huge tilapia on dry fly estimated around 4lbs+. My buddy sebastian also landed a good size Haruan on our flavourite killer propeller lure.But too bad,no photo this time but i will try to upload d pic's once
my hand phone discharge from d BDH(black devil hospital) hahahahaha.................................LOL!

Went to PR again 2 nite's ago,landed one of my largest PB on lure so far.
This monster(to me) put up a pretty good fight and i must also thanks Sebastian for helping me to land this monster.Btw,Edmund & Sebastian also caught a few zebra's and also misses a few.
Only our bro Joshua had salted duck egg that nite and was kind enough to donate 2 lure to PR.
Anyway ,we had a good time fishing there and will be back for more.Cheers!

Last nite went fishing at PR with Ken,Sebastian & joshua.
Before we sat off to our fishing ground we went to PRP to had some nite snack's and fish talk with afew friends. After that we hob in to our own Ferrari's and head towards d west.
Reach there around 2am,set up our gear and straight away we move on to our spot.
With abt 20mins of walking distance,we finally reach our venue. This time round,only sebastian was using Fly & the rest of them with spinning outfit's. Everyone started to cast their own flavourite lure hopping to land that big ones aft we arrived. After a few cast Joshua got his first hit of the nite,haha a baby PB. Soon aft Joshua released his baby,Ken immediately got another hook up, this time it was a zebra.
I was having Prata kosong with sebastian for d first 2hrs. So we decided to move to our next spot.Lucky man Joshua got another hook up,this time it was something huge. After a few mins of fight the fish finally surface but when he was about to land the fish,my lure accidently got tangle to his line and thats where the fish escape. Lucky we manage to have a look at what fish is that and it was a catfish,estimated around 8-9kg.Anyway,not much happening after that so we decided to go back to where we have started.
When it was about time to leave,lucky man Joshua got another hook up,bingo! it was a huge PB shouted by sebastian. This fellow put on a good fight at first but was no match with our fly master joshua,haha. The fish hit the boga scale at 5+Lbs,could'nt see clearly cos quite dark at that time. After that it was Joshua again with a 4Lbs PB and i finally broke the duck with a small PB around 1+Lbs. Although we only manage to land PB but with that kind of sizes we should be more than happy liao. We will be back for more action when we visit the place again.
Anyway,great fishing with great kakis,i'm more than happy CHEERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Few wks ago,one of my ex customer send me an email regarding d custom rod butt wrap.
When i saw the attachment pic's which he sent to me,it reminds me of this wrap which i've done it 2yrs ago when i was still in this trade and it's name d 3D FISH SCALE wrap. This is a very challenging design which i always wanted to do and finally i've done it.
This wrap if match with metallic binding thread,it would look more attractive,just like the body of a fish.
Hope i can try this wrap again when i hv free time.Cheers!

2moro would be Valentine's Day liao but i think there's got nothing to do with me la.
Actually,i was trying to do something crazy this time but my doctor advised me that i
should'nt do that. Why??? He said i cannot take to much pressure b'cos i got a weak "HEART" hahaha.This should be our bro Edmund flavourite lines. No la,should be "Mai Kong Siao Siao a wei" hahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He said that i better be off fishing rather than trying all those funny funny things.

Anyway,this Sunday would be Chinese Lunar New Year.
Starting from this Sun to nxt Mon i had abt 8 days of free time to F... around so i would most likely go fishing . Too much piloting from me recently, so i need to apologize
to most of them especially to Edward(MTS). Bro,really sorry for not supporting u from opening till now but don't worry nxt wk i will go down with all my Geen Na(bro's) to support u.

Ya,back to fishing,
this time round, i would go hunt for some other fishes rather then catching PB all the time,vy sian la.Currently i could only manage to land Haruan & PB on Fly,don't know when is my nxt surprise catch.
Might consider saltwater luring too cos already have miss it action for such a long time.Time to dig out all my lure's, treble hooks,split ring,swivel la and many more?????????????

One word of advise to most of the bros who go fishing with me,pls don't spend too much $ on d fishing tackle and accessories cos at d end of the day its U who's going to get hook & not the fish la. Pls la,if u guys got extra cash and no where to keep pls give it to me la,currently i'm shortage of $$$ to buy my flavourite GREEN TEA lei . Lolz!.........

Fresh water Prawning & Fishing at Pasir Ris Farmway

After abt 2wks of absent from the fishing world,i think its time to visit some of the new ground which i hv miss recently. After Knocking off fr work,me and my darling(pony tail) hob into our Toyota Coupe and head down to Pasir Ris Farmway to check out the fresh water pond.
Today is our first visit there so i didn't took too much pic's cos abit paiseh la,never fish still take so much pic's. Nevertheless,this should be a good fishing ground for ppl who likes prawning cos i saw quite a numbers of prawns being landed within a few mins. Not vy sure abt the fishing,but i did saw some huge patin & some school size pacu splashing on the water surface. Ok let me make a few more trips there to check it out first then i'll write a full report on that.

Yo! Yo! Yo!
Another nite of drinking session for me and my die hard Kakis.
Last nite i had a wonderful time at one of my childhood friend's Pub.
Sorry ah! Not last nite only but for most of the nite since last 2wks.
The name of the Pub sounds pretty funny to me lei,it's call "GRAXS".
Why don't they name it "FLOWER" or "FLOWER GRASS" .
Err.....sounds like once used to be everyones favourite pet fish Flowerhorn (aka Louhan fish)
They surely had their meaning la,i better not get to busybody.

At first we were concentrating on d drinks but aft we had empty d 2nd bottles of chivas,all d singer fr worldwide come out liao. We had Jay Chou la,michael learns to rock la,scropion la,eric clapton la and many more etc.........

Anyway,we had almost 3bottles of Chivas Teh-O & half bottle of Bombay Sky juice in total.

Aiya,think i had to stop here liao cos my stomach calling for help,its time for breakfast liao.

Hi there to all my viewer's especially my close friend.

It's been such a long time since i started to write my or my fishing kakis catch report,i hope bloggers out there would understand. How should i start? It think it should start like this.

It's been 2 wks liao since the last time i fish,hope my kakis not angry that i always pilot them. This 2 wks i hv been drinking everynite. Stress releasing la,LOL!

Hope that this does'nt affect my favourite hobby "FISHING" (Hopefully).

Recently, few of my friends went to "PR"to do some lure & fly fishing. Guess what did they caught??? OMG, they only manage to land a PB through out d fishing, but off cos a decent one on lure Est??? 6lbs??? i think so. Not just this, they actually miss a few big bugger's.

Joshua miss a gd size fish which bursted his line within seconds & not to mention what sebastian & Ken had missed. After what i heard fr them, my hand started to shake liao,of cos not kana stroke la, its call d "FISHING ICH",haha. BTW, i only got 1 pic's(above) to show but its enough to poison some of the PB hunter,CHEER'S

This morning we start off at 5 am from my house to meet all the kakis at Tampines for breakfast. We had our favourite BCM. But we had a slight delay due to loading of new fly line on my new reel. We reach PB lake at around 7 am which is half an hour late fm our schedule. Immediately we set up our tackle when we reach the destination. It took just 2-3 min to reach our 1st stop. To my surprise, one fat & short guy was standing at our area. He is our bro fat poh which my friend tease him by shouting "NO FISHING" only "FLY FISHING". We were firing blanks at our first few attempts at the first spot. So we decided to move further in, that area will never fail us (we tell ourselve in the heart - keep our finger cross). Bingo!!! Bro. Poh hooked up his first PB immediately he reach that spot. (There are two Pohs in our trip - the fat n skinny). All in all, our total catch sum up 13. Fat Poh misses a huge PB which was the last thing to be regret of. Anyway here's our pics of the catches today. Cheers!!!

Last night as usual we went to our favourite "kopitiam" to discuss about our expedition - "The PB Lake". In the mist of discussion, we think that our tackle might be over kill for the juvenile peacock. So with much of the temptation from our kakis, I decided to buy a lighter fly gear. Yesterday just went offshore fishing in Changi area with some of my old friends.It's been 3 years since the last time i went bottom fishing in Malaysia.Bottom fishing in Singapore seem like a brand new thing to me.If i'm not wrong, the last time i ever fish in Singapore was way back in 1997.Honestly speaking,i don't really like to do bottom fishing but my buddy Sebastian keep asking me to book a trip.So with much of the persuation i decided to book a trip to fullfill his hunger.Here's some of the trip photo's,Cheers!
